Poster design for the movie “The Handmaiden” directed by Park Chan-Wook. In Japanese occupied Korea during WWll, Sook‑hee becomes a handmaiden to a Japanese heiress in an elaborate plan to defraud her and acquire her wealth. In this wildly hypnotic tale the point of view switches from person to person with a wild war of deception between the genders.
A graphic experimentation of animations and transitions utilizing vector forms, alongside “Pop Culture” by Madeon. The goal of the project was to synchronize sound and movement, to create the most synesthetic experience to the viewer.
