How would you define making it big?

Meeting and surpassing the level of success/recognition that you aspired to. Could mean being locally-known or being world-famous depending on what those aspirations are.

What's a big move that has shaped you?

Deciding to go here was a big one. This was my only college option that would guarantee me studying graphic design. Glad I chose it.

What's your next big move?

Going upstairs and microwaving myself some chicken and vegetables.

Biggest influence on your work?

I grew up on comics and graphic novels and street art and all three inform my work a lot. Those were my entry-points into graphic design.

Weirdest thing encountered at CalArts?

Chouinard bathroom had "INSTRUCTIONS: TURN HEAD AND COUGH." stuck to the mirror. Prob some medication but all I could think of was a cavity search.

Dream job?

High rolling trust fund baby.

Name an important lesson you've learned so far in your academic career.

Don't let ego or fear of failing get in the way of you improving your work.

Three words that describe your current work?

Okay graphic design.
